Robert Kubica leads AF Corse to Le Mans 24 Hour victory
15th June 2025AF Corse’s #83 499P, driven by Robert Kubica, has taken the overall victory at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in the World Endurance Championship.

Despite missing out on the hyperbole shootout, qualifying 13th overall, the #83 privateer Ferrari has taken the overall victory at the Circuit la Sarthe.
It was Kubica who crossed the line as the winning car when the 24-hour race concluded, but the Polish driver was quickly accompanied by his teammates Yifei Ye and Philip Hanson.
After the event, the #83 Ferrari had racked up 387 laps around the circuit as Earth completed one orbit on its axis.
In turn, this means Ferrari, the manufacturer, will keep their unbeaten start to the WEC championship, having won each round so far since Qatar. However, it is the first victory for the privateer team of the season.
It is also the third Ferrari crew to secure victory in three years, following in the footsteps of the #50 and #51 crews.
Across the entire 24-hour race, the rain held at bay with no drops of the wet stuff falling at any point.
In the last few hours, it looked to be a Ferrari washout, but the #6 Porsche ruined this part for the Italian manufacturer as the German team secured second place.
However, it was a double podium for Ferrari as the #50 car completed the top three in third.
