The 6 hours of Spa-Francorchamps is the third round of the 2025 world championship, following on from the season opener, in Qatar, and the Imola six-hour race.

It will be another six-hour race, around the Ardennes, before the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans gets underway next month, before crossing the Atlantic for the Sao Paulo race.

Ferrari currently stand as the championship leaders heading into Spa-Francorchamps, with 92 points to their name. The Italian manufacturer holds a 29-point advantage over BMW, and 39 points ahead of the defending champions Toyota.

As such, Ferrari currently holds the top three positions in the hypercar drivers championship with the trio of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Antonio Giovinazzi and James Calado leading the way on 50 points.

So, for round three of the 2025 WEC season, what is the weather expected to be like according to the meteorologists at the Met Office

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
