Ferrari lock out top 3 in WEC 6 Hour Spa-Francorchamps
9th May 2025Ferrari has locked out the top three positions of the World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with the #50 leading the way.

Ferrari led a strong performance in qualifying and the following hyperpole sessions at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium, for the third round of the WEC season.
As such, the manufacturer will have three cars on the front rows with the #50 Ferrari AF Corse 499P, alongside the #83 AF Corse, which will start second.
The two Ferrari cars, driven by Antonio Fuoco (#50) and Robert Kubica (#83), were only separated by 0.347s on the front row.
The former only took five laps, whereas the AF Corse completed six.

The #51 Ferrari AF Corse, driven by Antonio Giovinazzi, completed the session in third. It followed a scary moment for the Italian as he skipped across the gravel at Les Combes, after the Kemmel Straight.
Fortunately, he was able to keep it out of the barrier and continue on without further issue.
It marks Ferrari’s third consecutive pole position of the season, maintaining a 100% record so far, following the Qatar 1812km and Imola races.
Peugeot’s #94 car, which took fourth place, was the first non-Ferrari car after qualifying and lined up ahead of the #12 Cadillac and #36 Alpine, in fifth and sixth respectively.
The #93 Peugeot, #20 BMW, #35 Alpine and #38 Cadillac locked out the top 10 from seventh to 10th, respectively.
In the LMGT3 Category, Lexus’ #78 Akkodis ASP Team took top honours with a lap time of 2m 17.732s, 0.276s faster than Racing Spirit of Leman’s #10 Aston Martin Vantage and Proton Competition’s #77 Ford Mustang, in second and third respectively.
