The French manufacturer bolsters their previous best at the event, where they finished third in the race in 2024, with a win one year later. It is also their first win of the 2025 season, after 202 laps completed around the iconic Fuji Speedway, on the foothills of Mount Fuji.
Charles Milesi took the chequered flag for the #35 Alpine, alongside Ferdinand Habsburg and Paul-Loup Chatin. They now stand as the crew that took the sport’s 100th win since its inception in 2012.
Alpine took the chequered flag unchallenged, seven seconds ahead of Peugeot TotalEnergies’ #93 car, who was locked in a late battle with the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport.
After Saturday’s Hyperpole, it means Alpine climb from ninth on the grid to take the win.
Further down the track, Ferrari’s #21 Vista AF Corse took the chequered flag in the LMGT3 category. However, it was TF Sport’s #81 Corvette who clinched victory after the Ferrari 296 took a five-second time penalty.
The Bend Team WRT, in their #31 BMW M M4, rounded out the top three.
Next up is the 8 Hours of Bahrain, and it will be the title decider for both the Hypercar and LMGT3 as the drivers and teams’ championships remain up for grabs in both categories.
The 8 Hours of Bahrain will take place from November 6 to 8, 2025.

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
