Alpha Tauri reveal 2023 F1 contender: AT04
11th February 2023Alpha Tauri have finally revealed their 2023 Formula 1 championship contender, the AT04, showcasing an evolution of their previous livery design.
Alpha Tauri have become the fifth team to reveal their livery ahead of the upcoming F1 season joining the likes of; Haas, Williams, Red Bull and Alfa Romeo. This means the half of the grid have now revealed their 2023 livery designs.
The reveal coincided with the New York City Fashion Show which remained logical and fitting with the Alpha Tauri fashion brand.
Alpha Tauri’s livery remained with its iconic dark blue and white livery, which has become the traditional colour scheme for the Italy-based team. However, the Polish oil refiner and petrol retailer, ORLEN have now joined the team after separating ways with Alfa Romeo which incorporates red into the colour palette.
Tsunoda returns to the grid for his third successive season with the team. The Japanese driver will be partnered up alongside former Formula E world champion, Nyck De Vries, who was selected to replace Alpine-bound Pierre Gasly after a impressive substitute stint with Williams Racing.
The team will be looking that their new driver line-up will promote the team further up the field after they finished the 2022 season in ninth place – beating 10th-placed Williams by 27 points.
Aston Martin and McLaren are the next teams to reveal their livery, on February 13.
