Alfa Romeo reveal 2023 challenger: C43
7th February 2023Alfa Romeo become the fourth team to reveal their 2023 contender, the C43 showcasing an all-new livery consisting of a black and red colour scheme.
Alfa Romeo, this morning, joined the likes of Haas, Red Bull and Williams to showcase their brand new championship contender, ahead of the upcoming pre-season test in Bahrain at the end of February.
The team has also taken on a number of new partners with Stake as their new title partner, becoming Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake.
The car launch was also presented alongside Alfa Romeo’s returning driver line-up of Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou who were wearing a new racing suit, compared to 2022, which showed a primarily black colour with a red stripe across the torso.
The new C43 removes the traditional white colour from its livery, that fans have been accustomed too, which has made room for their new red and black colour scheme. The new design (pictured above) separates the body work in the two iconic colours of both brands; Alfa Romeo’s red and Stake’s black.
This livery will also be the last season with the Alfa Romeo branding as the Italian car manufacturer separates from Sauber, ahead of the Swiss company’s upcoming partnership with Audi.
Alfa Romeo are set to head to Barcelona, this week, to give the car a shakedown before they arrive in Bahrain for pre-season testing, at the end of February, a week before the season gets underway.
Alpha Tauri will be the next team to launch their 2023 livery on February 11.
