Weather Forecast: the latest ahead of F1 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix
8th June 2026Formula 1 continues this weekend as the sport heads to Spain for the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, with a hot, sunny weekend expected.

Following the surprisingly eventful Monaco Grand Prix last week, F1 will not apply the brakes as the sport heads across into Spain for the first of two Spanish rounds, the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
Formerly known as the Spanish Grand Prix, before Madrid took those honours, the sport will return to its old testing ground, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, for the second consecutive European race on the calendar.
Mercedes Kimi Antonelli will enter the event with an extended championship lead after he sealed his fifth consecutive race victory, increasing his advantage to 66 points ahead of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who jumped ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell in the standings in Monaco.
So, according to the weather watchers at AccuWeather, what is the forecast going to be like at the Barcelona-Catalunya GP?

Friday
Friday will start proceedings with hot, sunny spells with temperatures running as high as 28, with lows of 21. There is no chance of rain expected, with AccuWeather claiming 0% chance of rain.
Saturday
Saturday will continue similarly to Friday’s conditions, with more sunny spells. Temperatures are expected to hold steady, with highs of 28 and lows of 20. Again, there is 0% chance of rain.
Sunday
Uniformly, Sunday does not change compared to the previous two days, with sunny spells wrapping up the race weekend. Temperatures will remain as high as 28, with lows of 20, and there’s no rain expected.
