Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix: the full F1 schedule and times

Formula 1 heads to Spain this weekend for the upcoming Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, and here are the official times of the weekend.

F1 will continue for its first European double header of the season, after concluding the eventful race in Monaco, last weekend. As such, they will be heading to Spain for the first of two Spanish rounds this weekend: the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.

Set at the iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the 22 drivers will return to a track they have already visited this year. The Spanish circuit was used for the first-ever pre-season test of the current regulations of F1 cars, with a behind-closed-doors private test – dubbed shakedown week.

However, the circuit will not bear its hallmark title of the Spanish Grand Prix as this has been passed down to Madrid, which will host its first F1 race later this year with the inaugural Madring circuit.

Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli will head to Spain continuing his unstoppable form as the young Italian star hunts for his sixth consecutive race win, after taking his fifth win on the bounce in Monaco.

The Italian driver now holds an impressive 66-point lead over Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who jumped ahead of Mercedes George Russell in the World Drivers Standings.
