After a turbulent time at Alpine in 2024, Ocon has found a new home this season at Haas F1, alongside the British rookie Oliver Bearman as part of the team’s all-new lineup for 2025.
His tenure at Haas has been a good move for the Frenchman, as controversy has not yet followed him, and he resides higher in the drivers’ standings than either of the current Alpine F1 drivers.
He currently sits just within the top 10 drivers, in 10th with Alpine’s Pierre Gasly – and his former teammate – sitting down in 14th.
Ocon has also scored in nearly half of the grand prix currently completed, scoring point finishes in six of 14 races, to sit 10 points behind ninth-placed Nico Hulkenberg, at Sauber.
The Frenchman’s best outing was back in China as he took home 10 points – the most of his season so far – and helped complete the team’s first double-points finish of the season. However, according to our rankings, we believe that Belgium was one of his strongest weekends of the season so far.
Against his teammate, Ocon is leading. In both qualifying formats – traditional and sprint – the Frenchman currently leads Bearman 8-6 in traditional qualifying and 2-0 in the sprint format.
This is similar in the races, as the experienced driver holds a four-race advantage over Bearman, currently standing 9-5 in the Grand Prix. However, Bearman is leading narrowly in sprint races with Ocon trailing 2-1.
See how we rated Ocon across the season below.

DISCLAIMER:
As previously confirmed, we rank drivers out of 20 points across each race weekend of the season. The highest performing, or best driver, of the weekend would get a maximum score of 20 points, while each driver below them would be ranked one point less.
If a driver does not start a race, they will be automatically given one point.
If more than one driver does not start a race, these points will be handed out in order it is announced i.e. Driver 1 (D1) is announced not to start two hours before the race start, but Driver 2 (D2) retires on the way to – or on – the grid, D1 will get one point and D2 will get two points.
