The female-only series will once again be an official supporting series to Formula 1 with seven rounds set to be completed in 2025, starting in China for their season-opener and finishing in Las Vegas.

Last season, Abbi Pulling secured the championship twice after a change of schedule in Abu Dhabi, in 2024, took away her championship win in Qatar – following a cancelled race. However, the Briton was able to regain her championship crown in the F1 season finale in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina.

But, going into 2025, who is confirmed so far?

Prema Racing

Driver: Doriane Pin

Driver: TBA

Driver: TBA

As it currently stands, F1 Academy’s 2024 vice-champion Doriane Pin is the only driver confirmed for Prema in 2025 with the other two drivers yet to be announced.

Pin was Pulling’s nearest rival in the 2024 championship battle as the French driver finished second in the championship, winning the season-opener in Jeddah. She took three victories and five podiums across the championship – supporting Prema’s championship defence.

Pin will remain supported by Mercedes going into 2025.

Rodin Motorsport

Driver: Emma Felbermayr

Driver: Ella Lloyd

Driver: TBA

Rodin has already got two names confirmed for their 2025 driver line-up with Emma Felbermayr and Ella Lloyd, supported by Kick Sauber and McLaren respectively.

Felbermayr, 18, will be making her debut in the sport but she will also combine her F1 Academy debut season with two more sporting series; the 2025 Formula Winter Series and the Spanish F4 Championship with Rodin.

Lloyd will return to the female-only series for a full season after her wild-card debut in the Singapore Grand Prix where she took home two point-scoring finishes, at the Marina Bay Street Circuit – finishing 18th across the season.

Campos Racing

Driver: Chloe Chambers

Driver: Rafaela Ferreira

Driver: Alisha Palmowski

Campos Racing are the first team on this list who have their full 2025 line-up confirmed with Chloe Chambers, Rafaela Ferreira and Alisha Palmowski.

Chambers is confirmed to be supported by Red Bull Ford whereas Ferreira and Palmowski will be supported by RB and Red Bull Racing respectively.

Palmowski, like Lloyd, was introduced to the sport as a wild card at the Qatar round and finished above the latter with two points in hand (10 points), finishing 17th. This will also mark the first season for Ferreira where she has raced outside South America.

MP Motorsport

Driver: Alba Hurup Larsen

Driver: Maya Weug

Driver: TBA

MP Motorsport, like Rodin so far, have only confirmed two drivers for their current driver line-up; Maya Weug and Alba Hurup Larsen, with the last yet to be confirmed.

Weug will be returning to the F1 Academy with Scuderia Ferrari after finishing the 2024 season as one of the runner-ups of the season, in third, behind both Pulling and Pin respectively.

Hurup Larsen, 16, will be supported in the series by the sports official partner Tommy Hilfiger for the upcoming 2025 season within the MP Motorsport team.

ART Grand Prix

Driver: Courtney Crone

Driver: Aurelia Nobels

Driver: Lia Block

ART is the last team in this list to have a full driver line-up confirmed for the upcoming season with Courtney Crone, Aurelia Nobels and Lia Block confirmed for the 2025 campaign. All three drivers competed in the sport last season.

Crone was the wild card entry in Miami, in 2024, but will be supported by Haas F1 in 2025. However, both Block – daughter of the late Ken Block – and Nobels will return for full seasons in the sport, supported by Williams Racing (Block) and Puma (Nobels).

Hitech Grand Prix

Driver: TBA / Nina Gademan*

Driver: TBA

Wild Card: TBA

Hitech is the latest arrival to the sport, having not competed in it last season, and as such are yet to officially confirm a single driver for their 2025 season.

*Whilst it is not confirmed officially on the F1 Academy website, Nina Gademan was confirmed to land a full-time seat in the Academy with Alpine as their supporting team. Hitech is likely to be the team that the Dutch driver will compete for.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship.
