Austrian Grand Prix: F1 schedule and starting times
25th June 2026Formula 1 heads to the iconic Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix, and here are the official F1 times you need for the weekend.

F1 will head to Austria’s Styrian mountains for the eighth round of the 2026 season as the first of another double header, consisting of the Austrian and British Grand Prix.
The race follows on from F1’s return to Europe as it just finished its first European double-header in Monaco and Barcelona, which made up the sixth and seventh rounds of the year, making it the third consecutive European event as this leg of the championship goes into full swing.
Temperatures are expected to soar as part of the ongoing heatwave raging through Europe, with conditions set to go to ‘unseasonably’ high temperatures, increasing to 36° but feeling like 40°.
As per the previous two events, the format will remain unchanged as a traditional grand prix weekend. Meaning there will be three one-hour free practice sessions before the cars get locked into parc ferme for Qualifying and the Austrian GP, on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
With that, here are your official starting times of each session to take place at the Austrian Grand Prix.
