After a solo stage to open up the proceedings at Rally Estonia, on Thursday evening, with the 1.76km VISIT ESTONIA Tartu Vald 1 test, Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville is the overnight rally leader.

The Belgian holds a marginal lead over Toyota’s championship leader, Evans. The defending champion, Neuville, stands 0.5 seconds ahead of the Welshman on the timing boards.

However, as per the sporting regulations, Evans will be the first to head out onto the stages on day two, followed by Hyundai’s Ott Tanak and Toyota’s Kalle Rovanpera.

Friday is set to be a day full of action, with seven stages making up day two of the Estonia event, covering a total of 120.64km of competitive terrain amidst the Estonian forests.

Day two will feature a different format than normal, with two separate loops being completed; one loop in the morning and another in the afternoon.

In the morning, the drivers will complete two passes of Peipsiääre and Mustvee before the midday service, the former stage being the longest of the event. In the afternoon, it will be back-to-back passes of Kambja for stages six and seven, before a super special stage completes the day.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
