The next event on the WRC Calendar keeps the rallying within the European continent after the events of Rally Italia Sardegna.
The challenging rally is a tough one for drivers to face, with the stages being narrow, rocky and brutal. It’s an event where survival of the fittest usually prevails, where those who survive without issues until Sunday can be heavily rewarded.
Last year, Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville secured victory on his way to championship glory, and it still had a final twist up its sleeve as Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier rolled on the Power Stage.
So, who will be participating in the Rally of Gods?
Toyota
Similarly to Italy, Toyota will run an extended line up with five crews set to battle it out on the Greek gravel stages.
WRC’s Championship leader, Elfyn Evans will be the first out on the road, as per his championship position, but he will be accompanied by world champions Kalle Rovanpera and Ogier. Takamoto Katsuta and Sami Pajari will continue in the team’s fourth and fifth cars.
Hyundai
Hyundai will use their regular three cars, unchanged across the season, with Neuville looking to replicate 2024 success in Greece, alongside Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux.
M-Sport Ford
Ford will be looking for better fortunes compared to their visit to Italy, following a shunt for Joshua McErlean, suspension damage for Gregoire Munster and a roll for Martins Sesks on the first day.
The three drivers will return for action in Greece, accompanied by Jourdan Serderidis, who also had an eventful stint in Italy.
