WRC Rally Sweden 2025: Entry List confirmed ahead of season start
17th January 2025Three crews are set to join the field of Rally1 contenders when the sport moves to the second round of the World Rally Championship, Rally Sweden.

The WRC championship has not even started yet as the traditional season-opener in Rallye Monte Carlo ignites the season next week. However, the sport has already confirmed the entry list for round two of 2025: Sweden.
Twelve crews will contest the premier class of the championship in Rally1 machinery, and three drivers will join the Rally1 regulars for the event.
Lorenzo Bertelli and Simone Scattolin will contest in Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Yaris alongside the team’s four-car line-up. At M-Sport Ford, Jourdan Serderidis and Frederic Miclotte will compete alongside Gregoire Munster and Joshua McErlean.
Martins Sesks returns to the Ford line-up for the second round but the Latvian will not take points like Bertelli and Serderidis.

The WRC2 class will host a typically strong 21-car field for the snowy event. Oliver Solberg will compete in his first nominated event of the season after opting to compete in Monte-Carlo but not scoring points.
Hyundai will continue to be piloted by the South Korean’s three-full-time crews. Defending champions, Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe will lead the team ahead of Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux.
Toyota GR, as previously mentioned, will take a five-car line-up to Sweden. Kalle Rovanpera will be joined alongside Elfyn Evans, Takamoto Katsuta, Sami Pajari and Bertelli.
As for M-Sport, Munster, McErlean, Sesks and Serderidis will complete the Cumbrian-based team’s four-car entry list.
Rally Sweden will be conducted just three weeks after the Monte-Carlo curtain raiser is concluded on February 13-16.
