Whilst this weekend’s FIA Prize Giving Gala, on Friday, will solidify the end of the season as the prizes and trophies are handed out, the teams will certainly be looking forward towards the 2025 season – the last season before the regulations change once again.
There are some major changes heading into the new season.
Whilst pre-season testing remains in Bahrain for the season, the sport will head back over to Australia for the first race of the season, for the first time since 2019 (since 2020 was cancelled due to COVID).
In addition, the teams will be all together on February 18, 2025 to reveal their championship challengers at London’s O2 Arena in a special moment for the sports 75th anniversary.
Six sprint race weekends will feature on next year’s calendar, as it was this year, in; China, USA (Miami and Austin), Belgium, Brazil and Qatar.
The calendar will also feature some geographical radicalisation to allow for a better follow over the season, aiding in the sport’s target to be Net-Zero by 2030.
Here’s a reminder of the 2025 Calendar;
McLaren finally ended their championship drought last weekend with constructors victory in Abu Dhabi.
But, what has happened in the world since the Woking-based team last won the title in 1998?#F1 https://t.co/oVIYk2a4a2

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
