Williams reveal 2024 livery as F1 launch season continues
5th February 2024Williams have become the third team to reveal their 2024 livery which the FW46 will bear in the upcoming Formula One championship.
The historic Williams F1 team revealed their 2024 championship contender, FW46, on Monday afternoon. The reveal marks them as the third team to reveal their livery, behind both McLaren and Haas.
Like the rest of the field, the driver line-up remains unchanged at the Wantage-based team with both Alexander Albon and Logan Sargeant at the helm of their respective machinery.
In addition, James Vowels will continue on as the Team Principal for Williams after an impressive start to the role last year, taking the team to seventh in the constructors.
In the presentation, both Alexander Albon and Logan Sargeant were there to showcase their new race suits and their new car. Both drivers described the car as ‘clean’ as the team opted to evolve their 2023 design.
“It looks great, I love it. I think it’s subtly evolved over last year, got a few more sponsors on which is always good,” Albon said. “It looks clean, blue – blue was to be expected.”
The design, as implied, is fairly similar to its previous design keeping its shades of blue and dark blue – with the exception of the roll hoop. The Duracell sponsor remains around the roll hoop, playing on its look as a battery.
Following livery reveals from McLaren, Haas and now Williams, Stake F1 will be the next team to launch their 2024 championship contender at 7pm (GMT) on Monday night.
