Belgian Grand Prix: the latest F1 weather forecast
13th July 2026Formula 1 heads to Spa-Francorchamps for the 10th round of the 2026 world championship, the Belgian Grand Prix, and it looks to be a wet one.

Spa is notorious for its own ‘mini-climate’, meaning the weather can change in an instant, with dry weather quickly turning wet, or vice versa.
For most of the week, there is a yellow warning in place for ‘extreme high temperatures’, which will last from Monday to Friday. It is set to avoid the remainder of the weekend.
However, rain is expected this weekend, and there are risks of thunderstorms across the weekend.
So, according to AccuWeather, what is the weather expected to be like for the Belgian Grand Prix?
Friday
As previously mentioned, there remains a yellow warning in place for ‘extreme high temperatures’ for the opening day of the weekend. It is expected to be warm in the morning, clouds are expected to come over in the afternoon, with a risk of showers.
Temperatures are expected to be as high as 25°, with lows of 15°. The chance of rain holds at 55%.
Saturday
Day two of the weekend is expected to be mostly cloudy but warm, with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm in the morning. However, a ‘drenching thunderstorm’ is expected in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain the same with highs of 25° and lows of 15°. Rain is heavily expected on Saturday with a chance of 65%.
Sunday
Race day doesn’t seem to be too bad with the weather, with broken intervals and showers early on in the day.
But temperatures are set to drop to highs of 23° and lows of 13°, with a 75% chance of rain.
