Spa-Francorchamps will host the 10th round of the F1 world championship ahead of its pending rotation with the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with this being the penultimate time F1 will venture to the track on its regular appearance.

The Belgian Grand Prix will remain on the calendar in 2026 and 2027 before being rotated around with Barcelona in 2028, making its next appearance in 2029.

Following the British Grand Prix, last time out, F1 will return to its traditional weekend format with three practice sessions, followed by qualifying and the race.

However, there is bad weather on the horizon, ahead of the Belgian GP, with thunderstorms expected on Saturday, accompanied by showers on Friday and Sunday.

Last time out, in 2025,  McLaren’s Oscar Piastri claimed victory around the legendary circuit, contributing to McLaren’s five consecutive race wins spanning from the Austrian to the Dutch Grand Prix. That race in Belgium saw the Woking-based team secure a 1-2 finish with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc completing the podium in third.

So, at the current point in time – unless otherwise stated due to the incoming bad weather – what are the official starting times for each F1 session this weekend?

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
