WEC heads to South America this weekend, ahead of their North American race two months later, for the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, at the iconic Autódromo José Carlos Pace, more commonly known as Interlagos.

It marks the fifth round of the year, following the 24 Hours of Le Mans last month, and after the Qatar race was postponed later in the year.

Toyota will head into the event as the most recent winners, having won last time out in France, at the Prestigious 24-hour event. As such, the Japanese manufacturer stands as the championship leader with 132 points to their name.

According to the weather forecast, it looks to be a mixed bag of weather this weekend, with a dry start to the weekend before it turns cloudy and wet, with a risk of thunderstorms on Sunday.

So, according to the weather watchers at AccuWeather, what is the forecast for the upcoming WEC event?
