Who finished where at the Mexico City Grand Prix?
27th October 2025McLaren’s Lando Norris took a commanding drive at the Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix as the British driver took over the championship lead, but who finished where?

Norris now stands as the overall points leader in the Drivers’ Championship, having completed a light-to-flag performance in Mexico to take him one point more than, teammate, Oscar Piastri.
The Australian and former championship leader, Piastri, struggled this weekend and could only best a fifth-place finish to keep his championship hopes alive with four races remaining on the calendar. He was outscored not only by Norris but also by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who now moves to within 36 points of the overall lead.
Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton had his best start for the Scuderia, starting in third place behind both Norris and, teammate, Charles Leclerc.
However, the seven-time world champion would finish down in eighth after it was deemed he left the track and gained an advantage in his duel against Verstappen, having served a 10-second time penalty for the incident.
Haas’ Oliver Bearman also enjoyed a successful time in Mexico, after qualifying ninth, the British driver was able to work his way up the order and take home his career-best finish of fourth place, after defending his position from Piastri.
A total of three retirements occurred in Mexico with Racing Bull’s Liam Lawson being the first to retire early on in the race, followed by Kick Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Williams’ Carlos Sainz later on. So who finished where at the Mexico City GP?
