Norris stands as the third different pace-setter in three practice sessions at the Mexico Grand Prix, following on from Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in Free Practice 1 and 2, respectively.

His teammate, and fellow championship rival, Oscar Piastri could only muster fifth at best, ahead of the other championship contender Verstappen, in sixth. Mercedes’ George Russell, who remains in mathematical contention for the driver’s title, finished third fastest.

Williams Alexander Albon seemed to have trouble out on track with a handful of lock-ups in the stadium section, and he complained that he lost power in the dying embers of the session.

At the same point, Verstappen complained, at the end of the session, that he had no grip on the front and rear of the car.

So, who finished where in the final free practice session of the weekend?

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
