We are in the last dash to the chequered flag of the season, with only five more race weekends left to determine a drivers’ world champion, or the retainment of a championship.
The Mexico City Grand Prix will host the 20th round of the F1 world championship. It follows a dominant victory by the reigning world champion, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, in the United States, who will trail McLaren’s championship leader Oscar Piastri by 40 points.
However, it is expected to be a dry and sunny weekend at Mexico’s Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, with sunny conditions forecast across the entire weekend.
According to BBC Weather, here is the latest weather report.
Friday
It is expected to be sunny with light winds, with temperatures starting as low as 14° and increasing up to 26°, before some cloud comes in the late afternoon to cool temperatures.
There is no chance of rain in the morning, but the chance of rain increases to as high as 14% by 5pm local time.
Saturday
Similarly, it will be a sunny day with a ‘gentle breeze’ with temperatures rising to as high as 27° by the afternoon. There will continue to be no chance of rain in the morning, but will increase slightly up to 4% by 4pm.
Sunday
On race day, conditions will be similar to that of the entire weekend with sunny conditions and a slight breeze. Temperatures will increase to highs of 26° meaning the FIA shouldn’t have to declare a heat hazard event this time around, following two consecutive events being declared.
It will be a dry start to the day with no chance of rain, but this is expected to increase up to 10% by 2pm before reducing and climbing back up in the evening.
