Rovanpera, who has secured every stage win since the event start, has continued his dominant form into Saturday morning as the two-time world champion secured all three stage wins of the morning loop.
After the opening day, Toyota locked out the top five positions in the overall leaderboard, and this feat has not changed. Rovanpera now has a commanding lead of 36.9s ahead of Sebastien Ogier, Elfyn Evans, Sami Pajari and Takamoto Katsuta.
The Toyota drivers stand second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, as the sport heads into the afternoon loop. Ahead of their closest championship rivals, Hyundai.
The Hyundai trio continue to fall behind the Toyota pack, with Adrien Fourmaux leading the way ahead of the defending champion, Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak, in sixth, seventh and eighth.
Gregoire Munster, of M-Sport Ford, continues as the team’s leading Rally1 crew down in ninth as his teammate, Joshua McErlean, remains just outside the top 10 in 12th. This leaves WRC2’s Yohan Rossel to top the timing boards.

I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
