After the fesh-fesh and rocks of Friday, the drivers had to contend with the rain, which affected the road conditions in Kenya. The rain had turned the roads into a quagmire.
Some of the stages were so wet and boggy, it caused drivers to slide around under acceleration.
How did the day finish?
Evans remained out in the front with a near-two-minute advantage over Hyundai’s Ott Tanak. Tanak’s teammate, Thierry Neuville completed the top three.
Toyota rounded out the top five with Takamoto Katsuta, who lost his podium spot, and Kalle Rovanpera in fourth and fifth. Sami Pajari completed the Toyota line up in sixth.
M-Sport Ford’s Gregoire Munster and Jourdan Serderidis rounded out the WRC Rally1 runners inside the top 10 with Gus Greensmith and Jan Solans in eighth and ninth.
M-Sport’s Joshua McErlean occupied 13th and Hyundai’s Adrien Fourmaux finished the day down in 18th.

I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
