The final morning session has been completed, with only the afternoon session left to go at the Bahrain International Circuit, at Bahrain.

There were some problems in the session with the first at Aston Martin’s garage as Fernando Alonso was called in to deputise for an unwell Lance Stroll.

Alonso was meant to drive in the afternoon and Stroll in the morning, but the two have swapped driving duties, Aston Martin has confirmed.

In the second half of the morning session, a broken panel of glass caused a red flag, and another was waved reportedly because a quadbike was still out on track.

When the final testing session gets underway at 14:55 local time (11:55am GMT), join us below for live updates!

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
