After eight hours of testing, the action continued once again at the Bahrain International Circuit. However, it wasn’t a clean morning for the 10 drivers regarding the weather.

After an hour of running, and reports of rain, the weather had shifted and it was not suitable for dry-weather tyres. This meant most of the teams remained in their garages as they waited for the weather to pass.

The only exception to this was Haas’ Esteban Ocon who went out on the intermediate tyres. Haas and Aston Martin were the only two teams who brought the intermediate tyres.

Haas brought one set of inters, plus a set of extreme wets, and Aston brought three sets of intermediates.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
