F1 confirms host and music acts for launch
17th February 2025Formula 1, one day away from its historical launch, has confirmed the show’s host and its music acts as it prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

On Monday, a day before the inaugural F1 launch at London’s O2 Arena, the sport confirmed who would host the event and its music acts. The event will be part of the celebration of F1’s 75th anniversary.
The show will be hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, who will be joined throughout the night by popular F1 faces Laura Winter, Arianan Bravo, and Lawrence Barretto.
Take That has been confirmed to be one of the music acts that will take to the stage. Other music acts confirmed are US country singer Kane Brown, award-winning artist MGK and composer Brian Tyler’s Are We Dreaming, the sport describes as Tyler’s ‘alter-ego.’
On the announcement, Whitehall expressed his desire to be involved in the historical event. He said:

“As soon as I heard about F1 75 Live at The O2 I knew I wanted to be involved.
“It promises to be a truly unique show, bringing together the cars and stars of Formula 1 with incredible global musicians and entertainment to celebrate 75 years of this incredible sport.
“I can’t wait to get on stage and bring the show to everyone at The O2 and those watching at home around the world!”
The event, with F1 working closely with several people and organisations, will celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary having been incepted shortly after World War Two, in 1950.
The show will have all 10 teams reveal their 2025 liveries, with all 20 drivers being present at the event. Alongside guest appearances from legends of the sport.
These liveries, as part of the agreement of not revealing it until the launch, are expected to be different to that the teams have recently used in shakedowns.
