F1 Academy announces Tommy Hilfiger as official partner with Nerea Martí completing grid
26th February 2024The iconic clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger is named as F1 Academy’s official partner as Nerea Martí completes the grid.
On Monday, the F1 Academy announced that Tommy Hilfiger will become the official partner of the series.
As part of the partnership, the brand will design one of five ‘designated partner liveries’ and provide uniforms for the F1 Academy staff.
On the announcement, Tommy Hilfiger said:
“The world of racing is developing at an incredible pace and the F1 ACADEMY is at the forefront of this movement.
“I look forward to working with Managing Director Susie Wolff, leading driver Nerea Martí and the entire F1 ACADEMY team as they break barriers in a traditionally male-dominated sport.”
Martí is set to be the driver with the Tommy Hilfiger-designed livery, with Campos Racing, as she returns to the sport for her second season.
The Spaniard, in the 2023 season, collected five podiums, one pole position and became the sport’s eighth different race winner. Combined, this provided Martí with her fourth-place finish in the drivers standings.
F1 Academy Managing Director, Susie Wolff has welcomed the fashion brand to the sport, she said:
“Tommy Hilfiger is one of the most recognised global lifestyle brands, so it is a great honour to welcome them to F1 ACADEMY as an Official Partner.
“Tommy Hilfiger is fully invested in our mission to improve female representation in motorsport, and their global brand platform will appeal to those outside of the motorsport world and help us to reach new audiences.
“I would like to personally thank Tommy and his team for sharing our vision and supporting a talented young driver in Nerea Martí.”
Martí’s announcement now completes the field of 15 drivers as the sport heads to its first race, in Saudia Arabia, on March 7 – March 9, 2024.

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
