Mercedes, Alpine and Red Bull reveal F1 car launch dates
15th January 2024Mercedes, Alpine and the defending world champions Red Bull Racing have revealed their car launch dates ahead of the 2024 campaign.
On Monday, a trio of the Formula One teams revealed their car launch dates ahead of the 2024 season. Red Bull’s announcement is the most recent one as Mercedes and Alpine made their launch dates earlier in the day.
Posting on social media, all three teams kept things hush-hush and just released the dates of their respective car launches.
Of the trio, Alpine will reveal all first on the seventh of February, followed by Mercedes on a Valentine’s Day launch (Feb 14). The defending champions will reveal their 2024 contender on February 15.
Alpine will be hoping for better fortunes heading into 2024, following their sixth-place finish, and Mercedes will hope they can finally return to the title fight having scrapped their zero-pod design last season.
However, Max Verstappen will hope the RB20 will deliver him his fourth world title on the bounce having secured every title since 2021, in his fierce fight with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.
Whereas Red Bull will be looking for their third title in a row, and seventh world championship overall, in their 20th season in the sport.
Red Bull’s recent announcement marks the sixth launch date of the F1 teams, only Haas, Aston Martin and McLaren haven’t announced their reveal dates.
