Alfa Romeo set to showcase KICK-inspired special livery at Belgium GP
26th July 2023Alfa Romeo F1 Team are set to use a special livery at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium, which will celebrate their partnership with the live-streaming service, KICK.
The 2023 Formula 1 Challenger, the C43, will be slightly different as the sport heads into Belgium for the Belgian Grand Prix following Red Bull’s record-breaking win in Hungary, last weekend.
As such, the team’s car and drivers will be suited and booted in a different look than what spectators and viewers are usually accustomed to.
The C43 will primarily retain its red and black design following their partnership with Stake, but the livery will include neon green branding which will highlight, and draw attention to, the team’s sponsor.
In addition, the brand’s more prominent creators will be featured on the halo of Alfa Romeo’s C43.
Ahead of the Grand Prix, KICK’s Director of Acquisition, Akhil Sarin said:
“We could not be prouder of having KICK inspire the livery for the upcoming GP weekend at Spa. At KICK, we put our Creator’s first by spotlighting the names of our ambassadors on the halo of our F1 car.
“The KICK-inspired livery is striking with stylish simplicity. We dedicate the KICK Streaming special livery to our community as they have in many ways and in their own ways contributed to the success of KICK. They are the entertainers of the next generation.”
It’s not only the car which is set to see a new change as the drivers will sport an updated look for the occasion.
On the occasion, Alfa Romeo’s Team Representative, Alessandro Alunni Bravi said:
“KICK has been disrupting its market sector since its inception, and the livery they created for us for Spa fits into this philosophy: it is different, it is striking, it is something designed to be different and create attention.
“Their focus on creators, which is very clearly exemplified on the car livery itself, is not dissimilar to how we operate as a team: our strength, and the strength of the platform, is only as sizeable as that of those who contribute to it – in our case, our team members trackside and at home.”
The streaming media brand has accrued more than 14 million registered users in its first seven months, based on its ‘creator-first model.’
KICK and Alfa Romeo’s F1 partnership was announced at the beginning of the year. Following on from that, the team and their sponsor have expanded together as the streaming organisation will become the title partner for the Alfa Romeo esports team, named: Alfa Romeo F1 Team KICK Esports.
The expanded partnership is set to take part in the F1 Esports Pro Championship, later on this year.
With the special livery being showcased in Belgium this weekend, F1 fans will be able to get their virtual hands on it as it will be made available, in August, on the F1 2023 game.
That’s all for the article; Alfa Romeo set to showcase KICK-inspired special livery at Belgium GP!

My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
