British GT extend title sponsorship with Intelligent Money to 2027
1st February 2023The British GT Championship has extended its hand to keep investment provider, Intelligent Money, as its title sponsor for the series until 2027.
British GT has extended its title sponsorship with Intelligent Money which will see the two brands work together for another five years, until 2027, further strengthening the partnership between the FCA authorised and regulated investment provider and SRO Motorsports Group.
The investment provider first became the sports primary sponsor back in 2020, and the existing contract was not due to expire until 2025, meaning the brand will remain connected to the sport for at least another two years.
Following the announcement, Intelligent Money Chief Executive, Julian Penniston-Hill said:
“We are delighted to make yet another announcement on our long-term support and commitment to the Intelligent Money British GT Championship.
“The precision, technology, teamwork and professionalism of all involved fit perfectly with that of IM in delivering the highest possible results without taking unnecessary risks. In signing a new five-year contract we are simply cementing this synergy.
“2023 promises to be an incredible year for the championship, particularly with the addition of Portimão, in my adoptive home country of Portugal, to the calendar. Whilst we celebrate the results of 2022 we also greatly look forward to continuing working very closely with SRO and enjoying the fruits of the work, training and testing undertaken by the teams and drivers this season and well beyond.”
Following the contract extension, Intelligent Money will continue to identify the GT3 and GT4 entries alongside trackside branding while continuing to provide free livestreaming coverage of the British GT action.
Commenting on the extension, Intelligent Money British GT Championship Manager, Lauren Granville said:
“Intelligent Money has become an integral element of the British GT Championship over the past three years, and we’re delighted that the partnership is continuing for at least another five.
“IM’s eight-year commitment will be amongst the longest in British GT’s history and speaks volumes for the potential Julian and his team see in our ongoing collaboration.”
Intelligent Money is regulated and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and manages a portfolio of high-performing individuals who are looking to improve their pensions, ISAs and other investments.
The brand started out in 2002, since then they have been entrusted with more than £2 billion of client money. In wake of their collaboration between the two organisations, it means potential clients can make use of the investment provider’s enhanced ISA, SIPP and pension options over the duration of the partnership.
Season 31 of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship will get underway at Oulton Park, to jump start the nine-round 2023 season, on April 8 and April 10, 2023.
