Sebastien Ogier wins Acropolis Rally Greece as Neuville suffers puncture
28th June 2026Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier has taken the win at the World Rally Championship’s Acropolis Rally Greece as Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville had trouble.

Ogier has claimed his second victory of the season in Greece after the nine-time world champion cruised his way to victory on the final stage.
In the stage before the final test, Neuville suffered a double puncture, which knocked him out of contention for the rally win. As he ploughed out to the end of the 16th stage, the Belgian fell to 54.8 seconds behind Ogier.
As such, the Frenchman had little to no pressure on the Wolf Power Stage. Despite this, the nine-time world champion still pushed on, taking home maximum points in not only the rally but also Super Sunday and the Wolf Power Stage.
Following the conclusion of the final test of the weekend, Ogier took the overall victory of the event by 58.3 seconds ahead of both Neuville and three minutes ahead of teammate Takamoto Katsuta.
The championship leader, Elfyn Evans, could only finish in seventh place overall after suffering punctures across the Greek weekend, hindering his fight back to the front after starting the weekend as the road sweeper.
As a result, it means that both Katsuta and Ogier have made ground on Evans in the championship. The Welshman remains the WRC leader on 158 points, but Katsuta now sits seven points behind as Ogier sits 33 points further back.
Joshua McErlean secured a strong weekend for the M-Sport Ford outfit as the Irishman dragged his Puma up to fourth place overall, ahead of Toyota’s Sami Pajari and Hyundai’s Adrien Fourmaux.

- Andreas Mikkelsen, WRC2 +10m 52.5s
Oliver Solberg (Toyota), Jon Armstrong (M-Sport Ford) and Jourdan Serderidis (M-Sport Ford) occupied 16th, 20th and 22nd overall.
