How the WRC standings shape up after Rally Islas Canarias
27th April 2026 0 By Kamron KentToyota’s Sebastien Ogier may have taken the rally win at the World Rally Championship’s Rally Islas Canarias, but there has been a shake-up in the overall order.

Ogier ultimately went on to take his first victory at the fifth round of the WRC, Rally Islas Canarias, going one better than he did last year when he finished behind two-time world champion, Kalle Rovanpera.
It was a close fight between himself and teammate Oliver Solberg, a fight which was soiled on the final day after the Swedish driver crashed on the penultimate stage. As such, it meant everyone moved up a position, on both the overall and Super Sunday standings.
As Toyota’s Elfyn Evans took maximum points on Super Sunday, including maximum Wolf Power Stage points, and a second-place finish, it means that there was a change at the top of the drivers standings.
