Lindblad was able to drive the RB8, Sebastian Vettel’s 2012 championship-winning car, wrapped in the 2026 livery for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls on 1st March.
The event took place around the India Expo Centre, only 15km away from the Buddh International Circuit, which hosted Formula One from 2011 to 2013. As part of the event, former F1 driver, Karun Chandhok, brought the same RB8 to the circuit, marking the first time a Formula One car has driven around Buddh since it left the F1 calendar 13 years ago.
Lindblad, only the third driver of Indian heritage to race in Formula One, marked India’s Festival of Colours, Holi, with the car releasing gulal, a coloured powder, into the air, reflecting the celebration that will take place on 3rd March.
