Following Ferrari’s reveal earlier on Friday, Alpine are the last F1 team to reveal their 2026 design ahead of next week’s Shakedown event and both Bahrain tests.
The French manufacturer showcased their livery in a live season launch aboard the MSC World Europa, in partnership with MSC Cruises, in Barcelona, Spain.
Alpine’s Executive Advisor, Flavio Briatore and both F1 drivers, Pierre Gasly and Franco Colaptino were in attendance, with the drivers unveiling the team’s 2026 championship contender, the A526.
The car itself retains its usual blue colours that are associated with the Alpine squad, accompanied by the pink of their title sponsor, BWT.

“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for BWT Alpine Formula One Team,” said Briatore.
“It is with great pleasure to begin our season here in Barcelona with our partner MSC Cruises on board the MSC World Europa as we prepare for what will undoubtedly be a unique season in Formula One history, not least for us with the new technical regulations, which offer a clean sheet of paper and a great opportunity for us to be more competitive than previous campaigns.”
“It has been a relentless few months at the Enstone factory in preparation for the season, designing and creating the A526, together with Mercedes-AMG, who will supply the new power unit and gearbox from this season; a partnership we are very much excited about.”
Following a shakedown in Silverstone earlier this week, prompting Alpine with their first opportunities to run the car, its systems and validations, the team headed straight to Barcelona for the official F1 shakedown next week.

Alpine will be hoping for a better season compared to last year, where the French squad finished 10th and last, with 22 points scored – all thanks to Gasly, who will undertake his 10th Formula 1 season this year.
In addition to Colapinto, who will head into his first full-time season after stand-in performances for both Williams and Alpine, in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
