United States Grand Prix: the latest weather report
13th October 2025Formula 1 returns to the United States of America this weekend, to Austin, Texas, for the US Grand Prix and it is expected to be a sunny and dry weekend.

F1 returns to the US this weekend for the second time this season, following the Miami Grand Prix back in May. It also ignites the first of three back-to-back races across the American continents.
The US race will host the first of three American races, like last year’s American triple-header, starting with the US Grand Prix, followed by the Mexico City Grand Prix next week, and it will finish with the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in over three weeks.
It is expected to be a hot, sunny and dry weekend, according to the early forecast, with sunny conditions expected across the full three-day event.
So, according to BBC Weather, what is the weather forecast for the weekend?
Friday
For the first of the three sunny days, temperatures are expected to rise to 32°, with lows of 18° in the morning. There is no chance of rain forecast for the opening day of the weekend.
Saturday
Saturday is expected to be sunny but will start with sunny intervals in the morning. By 2pm, the sun is forecast to be out in all its glory. Temperatures will rise to highs of 33°, starting with low temperatures of 21°.
There is a chance of rain in the area, starting at 4% in the morning before increasing to 10% from 5 pm.
Sunday
Conditions will return to those similar on Friday with sunny conditions predicted all day. Temperatures will go as high as 30°, starting from 19° in the morning.
There is a chance of rain in the morning, after an early rain shower, going down to 7% in the morning before dropping off to zero.
