The race in Great Britain marks the end of the Austrian-British double header, which began last weekend, as the sport enters its second phase of the European leg.
It also marks the halfway point of the 2025 world championship season as the Silverstone race is round 12 of the 24-race calendar.
Like the usual British weather, rain is forecast for the weekend. According to the Met Office, Friday will be dry and rain may miss Saturday’s running, hitting early on in the day, but there is a 30-40% chance of rain during the Grand Prix.

FP2: 4pm – 5pm BST
Saturday
FP3: 11:30am – 12:30pm BST
Qualifying: 3pm – 4pm BST

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
