On Monday, it was revealed that Hamilton – suited-and-booted – made his first public appearance as a Ferrari driver. He ventured to the team’s factory, met the staff and Ferrari’s senior figures, and had his picture taken in front of Enzo Ferrari’s house.
A day later, not even letting the dust settle, the seven-time world champion dropped his bombshell image on social media, showcasing his new race suit in Ferrari red.
On his social media accounts, Ferrari’s new seven-time world champion simply captioned it:

It was revealed in February 2024, that Hamilton would break his contract with Mercedes, a team which helped him gain five world championships from 2014 to 2020. After a season-long wait, Hamilton’s new era with Ferrari began in the new year with the team teasing his arrival through a series of social media posts.
On Monday, he visited both Ferrari’s house and the team factory, meeting the new staff he will work alongside as well as the team principal Fred Vassuer and Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.
Hamilton is set to test at Ferrari sometime this week, in one of their old cars, as part of the Testing of Previous Cars programme after the multiple world champion missed out an early opportunity at the 2024 post-season Abu Dhabi Tests.
The seven-time world champion will be able to test with the team again before the season gets underway at the Australian Grand Prix in March, thanks to the pre-season Bahrain tests in February.

Hi, I’m Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion.
I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I’ve loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
