The US Presidential Election is heating up intensely as the time to vote marches closer with a titanic battle between former President Donald Trump and sitting Vice President Harris.

Despite campaigning to fight over the swing states of the United States, in favour of their Presidential bids, the Vice President took time to appear on the Howard Stern Show.

While topics included topics of Trump, immigration and the Vice President’s time as a prosecutor, it was revealed that Harris is a fan of Formula 1.

“It’s so good. We love it, our whole family does” said Vice President Harris.

“Well actually, I haven’t been able to watch a lot of it recently because I am campaigning also depending on where they’re driving – the time of day, you know.

Remaining on the topic, the host Howard Stern asked who her favourite driver was, ‘Lewis Hamilton, of course’ Harris quipped. However, the host revealed he didn’t know who the seven-time world champion was.

“Oh, he’s leaving Mercedes” Harris commented. “Once you start, I think you should see it, you might get hooked.”

The US presidential elections have been cooking for a while now, following President Joe Biden’s decision to pull out of re-election and allowing Harris to take his place as the Democratic nominee.

However, the election will come to boil on November 5 as US citizens get their opportunity to vote for a new President in Harris or allow Donald Trump to return to the presidency.

In the meantime, Formula 1 returns for the United States Grand Prix next week in Texas, Austin, on October 18-20.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
