The Formula 3 Sprint Race, at the British Grand Prix, was meant to get underway earlier on this morning. However, due to treacherous weather conditions, the session was postponed.

A few cars were seen aquaplaning off the circuit heading into Stowe corner, turn 17, due to the soaking conditions out on track which caused cars to be beached on the gravel trap.

The drivers slid off the British track on their way to the grid from the support race paddock.

The race was originally set to start at 9:20am local time (BST) but it has now been rescheduled to start at 6pm local time.

When the race finally gets underway, Van Amersfoort Racing’s Noel León will head the pack from reverse grid pole position as per the standard procedure for the Sprint Race.

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
