Warner Bros. Pictures alongside Apple Original Films and Formula 1 announced on Friday, after Free Practice 1 of the British Grand Prix, their F1-inspired film has been given its name: F1.
Alongside the announcement, the statement also confirmed there will be an official teaser of the movie airing on Sunday, July 7 at 2:33pm (BST) just before the Grand Prix gets underway at Silverstone.
Joseph Kosinski will direct F1 alongside producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Pitt and seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The announcement comes a year after Pitt and the fictional APXGP team entered the Silverstone grid as the 11th team, as per the movie’s plot line.

Both Pitt and Damson Idris featured on last year’s British Grand Prix grid, as their characters Sonny Hayes (Pitt) and Joshua Pearce (Idris), including when the national anthem was played.
Not much of the film has been revealed just information that Pitt will star in the movie as a returning F1 driver to partner up alongside Idris at the APXGP team.
Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo will also star in the F1 Film, which was filmed at real-life events including the upcoming British GP.
The movie is set to be released internationally on June 25, 2025, with cinemas in North America set to show the film two days later.
