DS Penske finally revealed their livery ahead of the ninth season of Formula E which consists of DS’s trademark black-and-gold colour scheme.

DS Automobiles and Penske Autosport finally revealed their 2023 contender: DS E-Tense FE23, alongside their new driver line-up for this season, reigning Formula E World Champion, Stoffel Vandoorne and double world champion, Jean-Eric Vergne.

The DS car will run the 2023 campaign with its trademark black-and-gold design, despite its new partnership with Penske Autosport.

The colour scheme holds a dynamic design – similar to the Gen3 cars – as the black-and-gold colours are separated equally across the body work.

The nose remains primarily black, with hints of gold around the edges, before blocks of gold separate the black-covered cockpit and engine cover. The team opted to revert back to gold for the roll hoop, rear wings and tail fins.

The French team has partnered up with the famous American outfit from Season Nine and will hope that their new partnership will help the team deliver their targets this season.

According to reports, the team are targeting more victories and more titles in their charge at the front of the pack which will help the brand with its research and development.

It is reported DS Automobiles will launch their ‘exclusively electric’ models in 2024, as such the team are hoping victories – and titles – in the leading electric series will play dividends to their upcoming launch aspirations.
