Hadjar has been summoned to the stewards at 10:15am local (4:15pm UK), on Saturday, October 31, or an alleged misconduct breach in the F1 paddock at the Mexico City GP.
On Friday evening, after both Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2 concluded, the stewards released their summons. In their report, they said:
“The driver and team representative are required to report to the Stewards at 10:15 on October 31 2026, in relation to the incident below:
“Alleged breach of Article 12.2.1.l of the FIA International Sporting Code – Misconduct relating to an incident in the Formula 1 Paddock today.”

It is unclear what exactly Hadjar has been summoned for, but a video has circulated social media with the Frenchman pushing someone away when they tried to take a selfie with them.
According to the 2026 penalty guidelines, the code in question states:
“Any Misconduct. To be understood in particular, but not limited to, the general use of language (written or verbal), gesture and/or sign that is offensive, insulting, coarse, rude or abusive and might reasonably be expected or be perceived to be coarse or rude or to cause offense, humiliation or to be inappropriate, assaulting (elbowing, kicking, punching, hitting, etc.), incitement to do any of the former.”
As such, if found guilty of the breach, Hadjar could face a fine of €5,000 which is dependent on ‘mitigating or aggravating circumstances.’ However, for more severe penalties under the ISC (International Sporting Code) could be implemented.
