F1 returns stateside this weekend for the upcoming United States Grand Prix, at the Circuit of the Americas, in Austin, Texas, marking the second US-based event following the Miami Grand Prix, earlier this year.

However, it stands as the second of three, as the sport is set to return to Las Vegas for the final US race, later in the year.

It also marks the first opportunity that Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli can claim his maiden world championship title, and cement himself as the sports youngest-ever F1 world champion.

The 20-year-old has to win the US race to have a chance of taking the title, but requires both Mercedes teammate, George Russell, and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, to finish ninth and 10th, or lower, respectively.

This weekend is a return to the traditional format after Singapore hosted the final sprint race weekend of the season, last time out. It means the teams will be equipped with the usual allocation of 13 tyres, and three practice sessions before qualifying and the race.

So, what are the start time for the upcoming US Grand Prix?

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
