Results: Singapore Grand Prix – Sprint Qualifying
9th October 2026Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has claimed his first sprint pole position of the year at the Singapore Grand Prix, pipping Mercedes’ George Russell.

Singapore marks Verstappen’s second-consecutive pole position, of any format, following the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia last time out, denying Russell to the top spot by 0.120 seconds.
Although Russell is set to take an engine penalty for the upcoming main grand prix, the Mercedes driver will set to start on the front row for Saturday’s sprint race.
