After two back-to-back races, the Singapore will end the first triple header of the season, following the Azerbaijan and Bahrain Grand Prix, in the last two weeks.
Additionally, it will also host the final sprint race weekend of the season, standing as the sixth sprint of the year.
It is expected to be a wet weekend, with race expected on all three on-track days. However, it will not be the first taste of wet-weather running after intermediates had their time to shine at last weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia.
The weekend is expected to be declared a heat hazard with temperatures forecast to be over 30 degrees across the weekend, with all three days seeing low-to-mid 30-degree temperatures.
