The WRC remains in the southern hemisphere this weekend for the 12th round of the 2027 championship, Rally Chile BioBio. It is a challenging gravel event, which can sometimes be impacted by troubling foggy conditions, on fast, flowing stages, meaning pace notes have to be perfect.

Following back-to-back wins for Toyota’s Sami Pajari, the Finnish driver has cut down the deficit to the championship leader, Elfyn Evans. Now only 20 points stand between the two championship contenders, with the rest of the season under threat of not going all the way.

This comes after reports, from DirtFish, that Toyota and Hyundai are unable to travel to the season finale in Saudi Arabia as a result of company-wide travel restrictions, given the continued tension in the region.

Thursday will kick off the action, as it usually does, with a single shakedown test. It won’t be until Friday where the event will officially get underway with a pre-9am start.

Friday and Saturday hold an equal amount of stages with six stages apiece for the opening two days before dropping down to four on Super Sunday. Sunday will also hold the longest stage of the weekend, the Carampanque test, which stands at 26.82km.

Across the weekend, the crews are set to tackle of 311.18km of Chilian terrain across the event’s 16 stages from Friday to Sunday. So, what is the stage guide and starting times for each test?

Hi, I'm Kamron. I created ApexMotorsports.co.uk in the dying embers of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. It allowed me freedom to write whatever I wanted to write about which was all things motorsports, my passion. I have put a lot of effort in over the years to keep this website in its best shape and I've loved seeing the brand grow consistently, month-on-month, year-on-year. My ambition is to keep watching this brand grow into a primary outlet of news for all things motorsports whilst fueling my desire to pursue a career in sports journalism, specialising in motorsports.
