F1 returns this week after a slight break for the Italian Grand Prix, after resuming the season at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort last time out.
Temperatures are expected to be over 30 degrees, meaning a heat hazard is likely to be declared by the FIA before the event. It means cooling packages will be advised, such as cooling vests, and additional cooling elements on the car – or extra ballast for those who decline to use it.
There are reports of thunderstorms in the region, but these are set to miss the weekend entirely, with those storm spells forecast to arrive on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, media day, on Thursday, is expected to return to warm and dry conditions.
So, what is the weather forecast looking like, according to the weather watchers at AccuWeather?

AccuWeather has warned of ‘possible dehydration and heatstroke’ for those doing strenuous activities.
Saturday
Saturday will be a repeat of the opening day with hot, long sunny spells. Temperatures will remain as they were on Friday, with highs of 34° and lows of 21°, but feeling like it is 36°.
Again, there is a low chance of rain, holding at 1%.
Sunday
Unlike the previous two days, there will be some broken clouds in the area on race day, but it will be accompanied by sunny spells. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly, reducing to highs of 33°, with lows increasing to 22°.
