On Thursday, F1’s sole tyre supplier, Pirelli, confirmed the tyre compounds that will be used when the sport moves away from its European leg, following the Spanish Grand Prix at the debut Madring.
The races in question are Baku (Azerbaijan), Sepang (Malaysia/Bahrain) and Singapore.
Sepang will host the Bahrain Grand Prix at the Malaysian circuit as part of an agreement with the race promoter and F1, after the original Bahrain race was cancelled due to the volatile situation in the Middle East.
So, what tyres will be brought to the three events?

Baku: September 24 – 26
Kicking off a triple header, Baku will be the first of the non-European races since the Canadian Grand Prix, back in May.
It will also see a different schedule, moving the Grand Prix up a day – starting on Thursday with practice before the Grand Prix gets underway on Saturday.
For this event, Pirelli has confirmed the softest tyres of their range with the C3 (Hard), C4 (Medium) and C5 (Soft).
Bahrain: October 2 – 4
After the Bahrain event was cancelled in April, it looked as if the race would not go ahead this season. The jury is still out on Saudi Arabia getting their race in, but as tensions remain heightened in the Middle East, this is unlikely.
The Malaysian circuit has not been resurfaced since F1 last visited in 2017, and Pirelli claim a harder set of tyres, without going to their hardest range, means a reduced lap-time differential between a one-stop and a two-stop race.
As such, the tyres will be a touch harder than Baku, with the Italian manufacturer choosing the C2 (Hard), C3 (Medium) and C4 (Soft).
Singapore: October 9 – 11
Historically a test of endurance, with high temperatures and humidity, Singapore will also host the season’s final sprint race – prompting another challenge for the teams and crews.
Naturally, it will mean the teams will be one set less than their usual traditional Grand Prix allocation.
Pirelli have opted to go softer, rounding out the triple header as they look to begin it, with the softest tyres of their range. Like Baku, the C3 will stand as the hard tyres, C4 the medium and C5 the red-walled soft.
