The WRC will return to the Canary Islands for the upcoming Rally Islas Canarias, which boasts circuit-like rally conditions. This comes from the high grip levels of the Spanish asphalt, which is partly made from volcanic lava.
Toyota’s Takamoto Katsuta will head the pack on Friday as the current championship leader, a feat the Japanese driver has achieved for the first time in his career after he took back-to-back victories in Kenya and Croatia, the WRC’s previous two events.
Rally Islas Canarias will be competed across just over 300km of competitive terrain, across 18 stages. Action will kick off with the sole stage on Thursday evening, whilst Friday stands as the longest day of the weekend, starting from 8:20am until 8:25pm, spanning across seven stages.
So, what are the stages that will be completed during the Spanish event, and what times do they start?
